Surveying has made it up to the mine between Blackhawk and Central City. I've realized that with my redesign of Lower Blackhawk, I'm now short a couple of RH turnouts, so I'm taking a few days and building the needed turnouts (as well as piece parts for my "how to" clinic on stub switches...). I've also almost got the mainline spiked up to Lower Blackhawk (just one more turnout to go).
On the engine front, tools keep arriving - I've got a few more to order this week before I can start on the drivers. In addition, I've decided that the current lighting needs an upgrade and so I'm replacing it with a track grid and spots - I have most of what I need second hand, but I need to pick up a couple more 4ft sections and right angles...
