First of all, the tail trestle accomplished my goal for it at the Regional show in the middle of the month and is now installed in the layout - with that addition, I finished putting the last two wye tails in place and I can now say that all track is down. With that, I've started spiking the switchback as a break from my main project...

Since I'm running out of excuses, I started machining drivers. It's slow - I'm finding that delrin really wants to be milled by removing very fine amounts - but it does work. As of today, I've got three pairs of drivers done (only twelve more pairs to go) and I expect that I'll be working on the drivers until mid-July.

The last update is more of a personal one. One of the secondary goals of scratching building the B&CC was to make progress towards my MMR certificate and *that* goal (at least) is now complete. Amazingly enough, I even got a number that works as a Whyte notation - albeit from a later time period than I'm modeling.
