DCC and Zones

For the DCC command center, I use NCE's Power Pro 5 for the control center. While there is a radio antenna, I will also be installing wire jack faceplates into the fascia in case of failure modes. Once they are in, I'll add in a wiring diagram and a photo of the face plate install.

As shown on the wiring standards page, the B&CC is broken into four zones, fed by separate circuit breakers:

The circuit breakers are mounted on a drop down panel along with DPST cut-out switches to isolate a zone if a short is detected. Both bus wires are routed through the cut-out switch. I use a drop down panel to cover the shelf that stores the DCC command center. The circuit breakers are OnGuard! breakers from DCC specialists.
